In 1830, woman from Newport, New Hampshire named Sarah Josepha Hale, who was an author and journalist wrote the popular poem, now converted into nursery rhyme entitled “Mary Had a Little Lamb”.
This all time favorite rhyme is taught to children who range from two and above, and when you think about it, it associates with children.
Another thing associated with children, although bleak, are sex offenders. Many children of different ages, gender and races have fallen prey to these individuals, and it is our duty to protect them.
There were many laws enacted in many different states to prevent rape, molestation and sexual harassment, but as mothers always say, “It is better to be safe than sorry”. Better to take the necessary pre-cautions, than risk it. Besides, mother always knows what’s best.
